Some ways we look to improve
Kibuli Core PTC has strategies in place to perform better as noted below.
Mobilization, sensitization and encouragement of students to strive hard to get the required grades by Ministry and Kyambogo University through parents and communities,
Having better strategies in place to improve on the teaching – learning process. i.e. coaching, mentoring, tutorials, group discussions, providing remedial work, use of continuous assessment, revision and providing immediate feedback among others.
Seriously monitoring the performance of tutors through support supervision CPDs and reflective practices.
Review of strategic plan in renovations of female and male hotels, classes, administration block, main hall, sewage and drainage systems
Continued writing of concepts, applications and lobbing the ministry of Education and Sports, NGOs and other well-wishers to provide computer systems, sports equipment and transportation.
Through using meager resources, the college will slowly come up with a permanent fence for steady security.
Coming up with the program of installing water reservoirs/tanks, harvesting rain water, water rationing, providing sub meters and re-surveying college water pathway hence reduce water bills.
Providing sub-meters for Yaka and introducing college power control center hence reducing electricity bills.
Providing energy saving stoves to reduce on fuel (firewood) consumption.
Intensify and strengthen collaboration with YMMA, UMEA, UMTA, MOES (TIET), Local Authorities, NGOs and neighboring community.
