Challenges

Some challenges we look to rectify

Kibuli Core PTC has challenges identified as below.

Reduction of students’ intake due to the New Entry Requirement Guidelines agreed upon by
Ministry of Education and Kyambogo University.

Having big number of failures in previous years.

Inadequate accommodation for staff members

Buildings have become old e.g. the girls Hostel and male leaking and have broken shutters

Having in place old and worn out vehicles. The TATA lorry received in the early 1980s is
completely down, and both available vehicles are in poor conditions.

The college ICT laboratory lacks equipment. i.e. having one computer which is complaint and
compatible to modern and current programs

The college lacks a permanent fence which makes it insecure to students, staff and properties

Inadequate sport and recreational equipment and facilities. i.e. MDD costumes, sports facilities
like volleyball court, indoor courts among others

Huge and standing bills faced by college in terms of water, electricity and fuel (firewood)

Poor sewage and drainage system which put students and people around on risk of diseases
